About Pure Platter

Food Deserves Honesty

The short answer

Pure Platter began with a simple irritation: picking up a 'healthy' packet and being unable to tell, from the pack, what was actually in it. We are an Indian food brand built on one idea, Know Your Food. We start with millets and grow into traditional, indigenous and lesser-known foods, with transparency at the centre of every product.

Why Pure Platter exists

Indian food is wonderfully diverse and increasingly hard to read. Health halos, 'ancient grain' copy, ingredient lists designed to be unread, the modern food aisle asks for trust and offers fancy words. We think the better bargain is simpler: we show you the information, you make the decision.

We started with a simple question

What would a food brand look like if it treated the customer as an adult? It would publish exact ingredients and their order. It would show nutrition per the serving you actually eat. It would separate tradition from evidence. It would admit uncertainty in brackets instead of hiding it in fine print. That brand is what we are building.

Our founder

Pure Platter was founded by Shivansh Sharad Shirule.

His thought behind it is simple: food should come with truth, not fancy words. Watching 'healthy' labels multiply while real information shrank, he started Pure Platter to do the opposite, begin with India's own grains, show exactly what is inside, and let people decide for themselves. Know Your Food is not a slogan on the wall; it is the reason the company exists.

What we believe

Transparency is non-negotiable, it is the product, not the packaging. Health should be explained, not promised. Tradition should be respected, not exploited: no invented farmer stories, no 'tribal secret' marketing. Modernisation should improve access, better packaging, honest labels, wider availability, without erasing where food comes from. And trust is a business asset you earn one accurate label at a time.

Our vision

An India where 'Know Your Food' is unremarkable, where every serious food brand shows its homework, and where millets, traditional and indigenous foods are normal choices on a modern plate.

Our commitment

Every claim traceable. Every source named. Every gap marked. Pure, Truthful, Useful, Respectful.

How this site works

Every page you read is generated from a structured content system, not written onto a static design: ingredients, names, nutrition rows, sources and evidence labels are stored as data and rendered consistently. That is what lets a correction propagate everywhere at once, and what keeps our honest-placeholders policy enforceable, a missing fact is a missing field, visibly bracketed, never quietly invented.

Corrections are welcome and public. If you can show us a verified regional name we lack, or catch a number that has drifted from its source, the contact page is the door.
